St Peter’s is a vibrant church meeting the needs of its neighbours in remarkable and life-changing ways. The building is in need of upgrading, modernising and extending to accommodate the variety of activities the church is involved in week by week. The building is working very hard for the church; other than the main worship space, there is just one meeting room, now a multi-function space, providing office, meeting room, kitchen, storage and food bank hub accommodation all in the one room.

The need to extend the church on a budget has led to an extension proposal using shipping containers to provide a new foyer, offices, meeting rooms on two floors, a new kitchen and proper food hub storage. A studio apartment and vicarage are also included in the proposals.
