The main priority of this project was to create a downstairs toilet. Our solution was to make use of underutilised space by positioning it beneath the staircase. To do this, the staircase was taken out and re-built to accommodate the new room, making the most of every inch of the home.
A rear extension was also added to this Georgian house, creating an open plan kitchen-diner. We also opened up the wall between the kitchen-diner and dining room, enhancing the circulation and connection between spaces.
