Our clients’ existing kitchen was too small and felt disconnected from the dining area, which was located within a conservatory that became unusable during the warmer months due to overheating.

A new single storey rear extension provided a new open-plan kitchen dining room, replacing their old conservatory and giving them a beautiful space to entertain that connects out into the garden. The full window wall, bifold doors and roof window floods the space with natural light, but also provides a good balance due to the south facing garden. The extension also allowed the former kitchen space to be repurposed into a much-needed utility room.
